Re: Kempton 19/12/07 i'm off to Kempton tonight (as part of our work Christmas party, bonus!) so have been studying the form the last few days and come up with these for each race: 620 Seattle Storm 10/11 not much to go on in this race in a short field, but ran well to finish 2nd in a recent higher class race 650 Ile Royale 5/1 EW looks to have the strength to stay on in a 7f race after competing well for 3rd in a 8f last time out at Kempton 720 Rabbit Fighter EVS & Strabinios King 12/1 EW I think this is a very strong race and the one that excites me most with Green Lagonda and Willhewiz... and just a shame that Trinculo and Stormburst withdrew. Rabbit Fighter is a strong finisher and blitzed clear by 4L in C&D last time out and doesn't carry much more weight this time out. Strabinios King really impressed in a recent race (beating my bet!) and had a very strong finish, and his name has stuck in my mind to have a flutter next time i see him race. and at 12/1 now's not a bad time! 750 Bonus 7/2 A C1 race, but most horses are taking a step up in class for this one, so i go for Bonus who has experience over C1 & 2 and performed well over C&D 820 Auntie Mame 9/4 not much to pick from in this short field, but one of them's got to win! Favourite Amical Risk hasn't competed for 248 days, so is risky. Aunite Mame is experienced on the STD going and has been placed a couple of times, and can step up to winner this time out. 850 Fantasy Ride 4/1 A strong contest this one, but Fantasy Ride's last 3 recent outings have all been over C&D and hasn't fnished more than 3L behind the winner, being placed once. So a strong ride who can step up this time. 920 Oasis Sun 3/1 Favourite is Dishdasha, who debuted well on STD going and distance, but is used to turf and longer trips, so i'm not convinced. Oasis Sun seems to bred for STD going and since John Egan has taken the reigns in the last 2, he's finished 3rd and 1st. he rides tonight, so i'd be looking for more success!
