Thought I'd sort a thread for this evening's meeting as I'll be having a few bets tonight whilst I stay in and wait for a heavy day in the pub watching the Premiership elite league tomorrow! Tiger Spice 7.00 6/4 William Hill This horse has been disappointing so far and was turned over last time when favourite by one of this evenings opponents. It has a 4lb pull for 3/4l and more importantly here is that it tries blinkers for the first time. Not every horse takes to blinkers first time however it really onlt needs to pull out a miniscule more here and it should see it home! Me Fein 7.30 3/1 William Hill 2nd horse out for Barney Curleys former assistant AP Stringer who took over the reins whilst Barney carries on with his charity work! I really felt that Faraday a couple of weeks back was going to get this new change off to a flyer however that particular evening there was a huge bias towards front runners as every race was won from the front! With 2 weeks to dust down and now send his 2nd horse out from this wiley yard this could be winning as it likes! It has proven ability on the AW when slaughteringa field at Lingfield 2 runs back, however it's last 2 runs have not been great, though excuses could be made for them in that it didn't act on Kempton's unusual track and then on the flat in soft going. This could be gambled in so watch the market! Cha Cha Cha 7.55 11/2 William Hill Could be apt that strictly come dancing is on the BBC at the mo!:lol Anyhows resoning behind this is that the fav's Hypocrisy and Teasing always seem to find something to beat them! This one makes it's debut on the AW however Ryan will have schooled this horse on this surface and would not run it if he did not fell it suited the surface. The horse won a decent clas 4 last time over todays trip at Musselburgh and has previously been against some decent sorts. Value price here in hoping that it will strike at the 1st time of asking on this surface. Kirk Michael & Elusive Hawk 8.25 This is a short price however I won't be getting too involved on this horse only for my placepot along with AP Stringer's Godolphin cast off as too many short price have been beaten recently at this track. Elusive Hawk interests me as being a Godolphin horse the breeding is there however it must have had it's problems for Godolphin to not even give it a chance! I feel Stringer is gonna strike tonight and if Me Fein doesn't do it for him in the 2nd race then we could get a right price for this horse! Lobengula 8.55 7/4 William Hill (NAP) *** I just love this horse's attitude! out and away and recently gone!!! With the defection of Confidentiality this makes this horse's chance even more solid. Royal Challenge 4/1 William Hill This horse won well last time and stable is adept with other people's cast offs! has a 6lbs penalty however looked like it had plenty more in the tank last time winning by a very comfortable 2 lengths. I'll be having a placepot permed 2 bets and having some singular bets with a lump bet on Lobengula to pay for my :beer tomorrow in the pub! :hope
