There's another no lose tourney on at Bet365 on Wednesday night at 7pm.... December 12th will see the prize pool increased to a massive $1,500! The tournament will have a $10 buy-in but if you fail to get a share of the $1,500, the $10 will be instantly returned to your account. You may have realised by now that this is a win-win situation!
The Bet365 no lose tourney is a bit of a 'marketing illusion' IMHO. The prizes start at 50th place and IIRC it's $11.50 which looks good until you take the $10 buyin off. I played one a couple of Sundays and it took about 2.5 hours to get to the money. I eventually finished 4th for $40 ($30) after 4 hours but if I'd gone out in the 40's after 2.5 hours for $1.50 I'd have been a bit peeved I think. It's the prize structure I think I don't like cos every 10 places it only goes up by about a dollar. Anyway, ramble over what I think I'm trying to say is that there are better value no lose tourneys out there. :)

That way you need only play for less time and you can spend rest of the time doing other more cost effective stuff :lol . The $1500 tonight might be slightly different as there is more value there.

Simple! Stop the freeloaders playing in exclusive PL freerolls unless they support the other tourneys too We have way to many people leeching off us regular players who only play in the big freebies! 80+ for $1000 freerolls, 11 for $5 game.........says it all really. :wall

I would like to get involved but the heads up format just isn't for me yet as I foresee myself struggling against the more experienced pl'ers. :\:\

No apologies needed - it's for us to set up games that people want to play in, not "arm twist" people into games they dont want to play.... Does the fact that PL games are the hardest $1/€5/€10 games you can buy into not come as an attraction rather than a negative? Sure you dont play in it for profit, but isn't it a cheap way of playing higher standard opponents? (and thus to improve/develop your game)
its not a tight thing for me i dont like the format played last week took far to long heads up just isnt for me
I wanted the final games to be deep stacked - to ensure higher skill required to win, and not be a crapshoot ..... I thought it should follow naturally that the sats should be a similar format (though they are already less deep stacked than the finals) - maybe that wasn't the case and the sats should have just used the standard structure :unsure

I'd rather pay an expensive fee against lower standard opponents that don't know my game inside out like most of the folk on here!:lol A year ago I wouldn't have missed a PL game - I enjoyed the banter that went on at the table even when I was playing sh'ite! As Avongirl pointed out recently, I feel some of these games have become a bit too serious for a light hearted chap such as myself! :cry Anyway, keep up the good work - it's very much appreciated!:ok TQM

I'm with TQM on this one - it's fookin' tough to do well in a PL game. I've taken a pledge not to put any more money in my existing accounts until the New Year, and I save my virgin money for the v-roll (happy to break even) That said, I have dipped my toe in the water on 2 or 3 occasions in the PLOPS series, and have failed spectacularly each time. What would I do differently? Nothing. The price is right, and I'll have another go at the freezeout, but I don't think I'll try the HU again. I'd just need far too much luck to get through the different rounds.
