peteg40 Posted November 30, 2007 Share Posted November 30, 2007 Don't know if this is still running...... :tongue2 DENMAN IN THE 2.40 Newbury DENMAN will have to show Gold Cup form to win here and humping 11st 12lbs against a class field will be a tough ask. he could also need the race and although the horse could turn out to be a superstar he has still to prove that he is up to winning off this sort of mark. remember even KAUTO STAR could give the weight on his first run. The fighting fifth hurdle at Newcastle looks an interesting race. Cloft is interesting for me the trainer is extremely shrewd and has talked about this horse as a potential champion hurdle horse.
