Pragmatism 3.40 Caught the eye on its debut, reportedly looked well in the paddock and looked like one to follow when finishing 3rd to Mr Keppel over 7f and staying on. That horse upheld form when winning another two times and both at class 2 level. The 2nd from that debut race Art Currency was last in its next race. Pragmatism stepped up to 1m on soft ground and could only finish 5th of 15 but raced handily and may benefit from a change of tactics to drop in this time. Runs again over 1m(141yds) and makes all weather debut on a track that Mark Johnstone has a lot of success at with his 2 year olds: 16 from 73, 22% strike rate and +£33.07 to a £1 level stake. King Kenny is the obvious danger and has Group 1 entries and should come on for its first run at Doncaster but 11-8 looks short enough for that one. Pragmatism has an expected SP of 8-1 and I'd be happy to get anything above 5-1. Only 7 runners so win bet advised.

Re: Wolverhampton 27/11/07 2:35 Lady Bower In best form of her short career in August having a win and 3rd place finish from 3 starts. Had the best all weather finish LTO when beaten 4 lengths for 6th of 14 at Kempton in a 0-65 rated 1 mile nursery handicap. Trainer Mark Johnston has 16 wins from 73 2yo's at this track for +33.07 LSP. Johnston in sellers... Has 3 wins from 7 2yo sellers in the last 5 seasons - 1 win from 3 in all weather. 2 wins from 2 this year with 3yo's. 6.20/2.20 @ Betfair
