Re: Sunday Lay of the Day 11/11/07 Birkside 2.00 Kempton. (F/Cast 7/2) Won his last 4 on the bounce, so cannot argue with that and comes into this in top form. However, looking through the race and it appears that his recent best is the 'least' he needs against these tougher looking rivals today. Could get the race run to suit and come home late and fast, but you have to feel that he'll be worked very very hard in the latter stages to close, and I personally do not think he'll do it. Several have equal and slightly better chances after all said and done, so the value call is to lay, irrespective of the end result. A few at bigger prices wouldn't be out of this either when checking the make ups etc, so not a surprise to see a big priced winner, but as long as the lay gets beat, then that'll do. So in fine form and should run his race, but needs at the very least a repeat of his best and several live dangers make him opposable today.
