Double Eagle 3.10 Towcester Connections enter 2 for this and Double Eagle looks the 1 to be on off jockey bookings. Last seen finishing 2nd at Sandown to the very smart Albertas Run and could be tough to beat. He should be fit enough for this 2.5 miles as connections think he's a good 3m chaser.

This afternoons race looks fairly week, without any outstanding favourites, leading me to plump for an outsider whose runs over its favoured distance and ground. If, after a decent rest, it can produce the sort of form it showed last time out in Weatherby over the same trip, I feel it has a great chance of placing.

14.10 Towcester - Pukka Tique (E/W) 19.00 @ Coral In this competitive handicap I fancy Pukka Tique to finish there or thereabouts. Should enjoy the ground and will look to follow up a creditable 3^rd place a month ago at Exeter in group 3 race with another solid performance this afternoon. You could pick a number of potential winners from this race, but I’m going to go for the value selection here.
