WoodyTHFC Posted October 27, 2007 Share Posted October 27, 2007 Don 3.40 River Proud RPF 8/1 e.w A few other alternatives include Stoute's horse and Ridge Dance who was unlucky in that City leader win but River Proud has shown a good ability already as highlighted with that second to Winker Watson and had an excuse when at Doncaster last time and on its last start it bounced back with a win suggesting it may want further so no problem with the mile for me and I marginally give this the shout over the other two I mentioned. Has the advantage of race fitness, and recent form gives him chances of going well in context with this race. We'll have to hope that a few others aren't o their top games after a break, but at around 8/1 I feel it's worth the risk.
