So to the pick itself, Lillehammer holds defensive pattern on all home games, results that were achived on their ice are as folloes: Lillehammer IK vs. Stavanger Oilers 1:2 Lillehammer IK vs. IHK Sparta Sarpsborg 2:0 Lillehammer IK vs. Furuset Ishockey IF 1:2 Lillehammer IK vs. VÃ¥lerenga IF 2:3 So no game whatsover close to being over, but worry is h2hs with Storhamar, as games played on this ice were in most cases a high scoring ones, 5 of 11 if im exact, but still Sorharmar went over 6.5 goals only once in all away games. IMO good defensive record of Lillehamers at home 6-7 goal diff in 4 games is more of an football score and the low odds in nordic books made me like this one. *crap limits again, but the price dont change once you confirm the bet, so no value lost here!

Val Pusteria won 3 and lost 4 matches so far and Alleghe has 2 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses. As you see, they are very close on the table. They are actually of similar strength. I'm trying Alleghe's win because of Val Pusteria's home form. Val Pusteria played 4 matches at home and won only 1 of them. They have lost to: Bolzano (4th in the league), Pontebba (6th) and Milano (3rd). They have won only against Cortina (8th). Val Pusteria didn't have any matches in last round so they will be more rested. They will definitely pick up their home form at some point, but it will be hard to do against Alleghe. Alleghe didn't lose a match in last 4 rounds. They are nor good nor bad away: 1 win, 1 draw and 2 losses. But they seem to be in rather good form, so small stakes on money line is worth a shot.

Today Metallurg are playing at home where they are some of the strongest teams in the league standing at a fantastic 30 points in 11 games which means they are just one win shy of a perfect streak. Looking at the last 8 games they started with winning 4 in a row and and then two very slim losses away to Togliatti (loss in OT) and to Ufa (5-4). The last two games were nice wins over Cheljabinsk (9-1) and a 2-0 win away over Cheljabinsk once more. The away team Ufa are the leaders in this league but haven't been in such great nick lately if you look at the away games (in 9 away games they have 13 pts.) Last 3 away games have been losses to Togliatti, last placed Amur and a win over lowly Vitiaz Chehov I base this bet alot on the home strength of Metallurg and the relatively weak away team of Ufa. The teams have faced one before this season at Ufa and that game was won by Ufa 5-4. Metallurg got really close that time but are in better form now and have a good chance with their home advantage. They couldnt count then on their star attacker which was out of this game. But according to reports, result is warrying, as Laussanne did create chances but just could capitalise (great goalie at Visp), while on the other hand Visp scored 6 goals which was surprising as the home table was showing 6-0-0 and 41-11 goal diff prior to the game. So today, league leaders will have their bounce back chance against middle of the table Lions, they have beaten them some two weeks ago in away game with 7-0 and i honestly suspect smt. similar could happen today, fired up Laussane will surely want to do it for themesleves and the fans. And they surely have the quality to do so.

Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: 25/10 GE Servette HC vs. SC Bern under 5.5 @ 1.88 Big derby in Swiss hockey as 1st and 2nd placed teams colide. Hosts with best attack in the league, which averages over 3 GPG, while Bern is best defensive team in the league with under 2 goals conceeded per game. Especially Berns away results made me go for anoher under oon their game, in all 7 away games they conceeded only 8 goals and score 19, so that gives the average of sligthly over 2.5 goals per game. The other good edge is that they own best goalie in the league and also at Servetter thier netminder Gianluca Mona should be back in the lineup after he injured himself two weeks ago. so a derby game, so another logical outlook is a low scorer..these games usualy are like that

Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: 25/10 Skellefteå - Södertälje The home team are in good form now and have found the key to success, their 6 games at home have ended with 5 wins - the one loss coming in the very first game against HV71 (1:2). After that, as I said, 5 wins and not against bad opponents. They have defeated Frölunda, Mora, Brynäs, Linköping and MODO. In the last game they were defeated away to MODO but in all fairness it's really hard to win in Örnsköldsvik and also, Mikael Renberg was missing in that game. To my knowledge there are no players on the injury list in this game when it comes to Skellefteås roster. Södertälje started out in a nice way this season with some good wins and they still impress with their tight defensive. The problem is that they need a good sniper, they have only conceded 9 at home but on the other hand they have only scored 10. Away they are 7-17 and so their main problems is that they need to play better away and also get a good scorer, Dragan Umicevic might solve this problem when he arrives from Russia but it's to early to say. Back to Södertäljes away record: 1 pt in 6 games is not enough to impress anyone in my book. Formwise they are at 2 pts in the last 5 games. Concerning injuries they will have to deal without Kollar, Valtonen and Umicevic. H2H 07/08: Södertälje - Skellefteå 1-1. Södertälje are not a bad team - just in away games. Skellefteå are a team with impressive stability these days, in away games but of course best at home. Skellefteå @ 1.85 Expekt/SJ/Unibet

If they have full squad, I would go on Ufa, but now I better prefer under 5.5

Lillehammer - Storhamar under 6.5 goals @ 1.73 (Pinnacle) Lillehammer's not a strong home team, one win and three losses, goaldifference 6-7, but they always keep the score down : Vålerenga 2-3, Furuset 1-2, Sparta 2-0 and Stavanger 1-2 the results. They managed to play a very close match vs Vålerenga and beat Sparta, I see no reason to why this match would be different. Storhamar of course favourites and the better team, but they are not as strong on the road as when at home: 2-1-2 12-15. 4/5 of Storhamar's away matches ended under this line, including a narrow 1-0 win vs the worst team in the league, Trondheim. Lillehammer will surely be a tough nut to crack for Storhamar today, instead of picking a winner I choose this bet, stats clearly speaks for under. Vålerenga -2 @ 2.15 (Pinnacle) Vålerenga top the table, are imo the best team in Norway, at least when they play away: 5-0-0 21-8 a record thats really amazingly good. Only two of those away matches ended with a win over this line, one would have been a push, but those two are significant for this bet imo: Sparta 6-1 and Furuset 6-2, tow teams that play attacking minded hockey and don't focus as much on defence as the two opponants Vålerenga won with the odd gols vs: Storhamar and Lillehammer. Stjernen also a much weaker team than Storhamar of course, they have lost 4/5 latest, 1-3 vs Comet away, 1-5 vs Trondheim at home before that. The loss vs Trondheim tells that Stjernen are really out of form, one reason the amount of injuires they suffer from, today they get back one player, but still miss three key players. I definately give Vålerenga more than 50% to cover this line, so rather than backing -1.5 at about 1.75 I risk it a bit more. Stavanger (-1) @ 2.00 (Bet365) Stavanger's back on track after a bad streak, two wins in a row now, not vs the strongest possible opposition, but still: 2-1 away vs Lillehammer and 4-3 after o.t away vs Furuset. Reason for Stavanger's bounce back should be that their injury situation have been better, today perfect, for the first time this season Stavanger got the whoe roster to choose from, and that their new signings, the two players from overseas have proved to be players who add quality to the team, forward Brooks with a point average of 1.5 since he arrived. Comet mix their results, but when I look at their latest five matches I see that they won at home vs Stavanger 3-2 when Stavanger were in the middle of their crizis, won at home vs Trondheim 7-3, hard to avoid winning vs Trondheim at home, then lost away vs Sparta 6-4, lost at home vs Frisk/Asker 3-5, then won at home vs out of form Stjernen 3-1. Not a record that impress me, imo Stavanger with full roster should be ranked higher than Comet, and I think that Stavanger's streak will continue, I see Stavanger as a team that should be placed within top 4 in the table. I like this line, money back i Stavanger win with one goal, and evens is quite tasty now that straight win pays about 1.70 at most bookies. Bamse: Agree with ya about Skellefteå, I want to add that Södertälje will miss their 1st goalie Ehnrot, a big blow since he has been outstanding this season, Elitserien's best goalie no doubt. Replacement gk Bjurling not bad, but it surely adds unsecurity in Södertälje who are already under pressure.

Well, this one was completely lost. Alleghe lost 7:3. Val Pusteria surely picked a 'great' time for first well played home match. I still can't get a grip of Serie A. Last round I thought that Alleghe's form will go down and they've won. This week I changed my mind and then this happens. I'll keep trying, but I will definitely use very small stakes for some time. This time I won't go after their win, but after 'over 1.5'. In 4 out of last 5 Cherepovec away matches, first period went over 1.5. In 4 out of last 6 away matches Cherepovec scored a goal in first period. Spartak didn't lose first period in last 9 matches. So, this is my reasoning: it is likely for Cherepovec to score in first period. It is also likely for Spartak to get at least a draw in first period. If Cherepovec score, Spartak needs to score also to get that draw (duh!). And that's how I got to over 1.5;)

They have won 5 in a row and each home win met -1.5 hcp. Their goal difference in last 5 home matches is 22-5. Their form is respectable at the moment: 6 wins in last 7 matches. In 5 out of those 6 wins, this handicap was won. Martin Vojtek, goaltender, has the best league stats: only 1.16 goals per match (96,95%). On the other hand, Litvinov's Hubl and Franek allow over 3 goals per match (around 91%). Litvinov doesn't have bad rooster, but are nevertheless without away win so far. They have 3 OT losses and 5 losses in 8 away matches. Litvinov lost their last away match to Znojmo 3:1 (this was only 2nd Znojmo's win at home). Trinec will take this match seriously, as they know Litvinov's capabilities. After all, Litvinov beat them once this season (it was at the beginning, when Trinec was without a win in first 4 matches). Judging by the recent forms, this should be an easy job for the home team.

They have lost 0:2, but the match was even sided and Skalica played really well. They have best defence at home: only 11 goals allowed in 9 home matches. If Pallfy will play, there shouldn't be any problems for home team. Zilina still has troubles with goaltenders. After powerfull season start with 3 wins in 4 away matches, they have lost the momentum and have only 1 win in last 5 away matches. They have allowed 17 goals in those 5 matches (and they didn't have those goaltender problems in those matches). Skalica definitely have an advantage in this match and if they will play like in last few weeks, this handicap is at hand.

Re: Euro Ice Hockey Leagues: 25/10 Polish hockey Polonia Bytom - Wojas Podhale Nowy Targ over 6.5 @ 1.80 Going with the stats again. Podhale by far the most succesful team when it comes to terms of scoring goals. They succeded to put the puck in the net 78 times in 17 games, which is 10 goals more as 2nd best scoring team + they have a game less played. Looking at their results it obvious that unders they played were achived against stronger opponents in the league, which has eventually also better defences and probalby also Podhales coach decided for less attacking tactics. In other games when they faces worse opponents as they are, according to table, they went "crazy". Well today theyre facing 2nd worst defensive team in the league, the crap primate still holds Unia Osvetim (played it previous time), but Bytom is not far behind, with 73 conceeded in 17 games. So looking this one stats wise and logical wise..again attacking display as Bytom looks bad and probably we could see some 7 or 8 goals today. This over is priced very well if i look at it from angle that best attacking team meets 2nd worst defensive team.

Aab are solid, but have had problems with their scoring, they haven't been payed off for dominating almost every match. Last match, 6-3 vs Frederikshavn, was positive in that way, Aab were a lot less toothless and this might be very important for today's match. Newcomers Totempo started well looks to be slipping now, lost 2-6 at home to Sönderjyske last match, before that 1-6 away to Rödovre. Totempo's defence looks a lot less solid, these results can't be good for their confidence. Aab should be able to outskate Totempo and cover this line, there's a big class difference that should show today. Västerås -1 @ 1.86 (Pinnacle) Time for Västerås to make up for that poor result vs Almtuna...Västerås are usually very reliable at home, 5-1-0 so far, Björklöven very reliable away, they don't get points vs any of the good teams. Björklöven also shows pretty poor form, lost 3-4 at home vs Huddinge, a huge upset, before that they won 4-3 away vs Hammarby, Allsvenskan's worst team by far. Västerås should win this match if logic still apply in Allsvenskan, and -1 at this odds very decent imo.
