Perun14 Posted October 16, 2007 Author Share Posted October 16, 2007 Re: Euro hockey leagues 16.10.2007 Pardubice - Zlín - pick- 1 - 1.6 After eleven rounds Pardubice will play first match in home stadium ( reconstruction stadium in Pardubice for 10194 fans ).Pardubice in last matches played very good ( on Friday in Liberec was very unlucky match) and on sunday in Ústí win very easy. Now the meet newcomers Borås, who have performed ok, but 0-1-3 9-19 away tells that they are very shaky on the road. They have lost to Huddinge as an example of that, Huddinge a team that Sundsvall won 5-1 vs, a match were Sundsvall controlled things from the start to the finish. I give Sundsvall about 53 -54 %. Rögle @ 1.90 (Bet365) Rögle a very solid team, won 4/5 latest, only lost match vas 2-3 away to Leksand, not a bad result considering Leksand's level. Rögle now also strengthened by the arrival of Brett Harkins, he played for Rögle parts of last season, and made quite a good impression. Oskarshamn a team that's tough to beat when they play at home, but they are a level under Rögle and doesn't have fire power enough to really worry Rögle's defence imo. Ässät-Blues Home team is in some sort of an crisis. -Players want to get rid of their coach (Härkälä). -Härkälä punished their players after the loosing macth against Hpk and ordered them a penalty practice for the sunday morning wich was supposed to be players day-off, players showed to ice rink but they denied to go in to the ice. -Now the teams coachingteam and managers have decided to drop off the team captain Pasi Peltonen from the playing squad, and that a one part of disaster called Ässät at the moment. -Ässät players like Rob Hisey has already said in a interview that he is ready to sail away from this team,so home team´s morale and focus is far from best at the moment. Blues is a nightmare for the punters (at least to me=), but they are at least on paper 1 class better than Ässät. I´ll go for the visitors with big stakes. Blues 2 2.00 (many books) Blues -1 2.95(Sportingbet) Also a special bet: Any other score 9.00 (Centrebet) this will hit if scoreline shows 7 or more to other team( i´m hoping Blues gets an early goal(s) and seals Härkälä´s career in Ässät :hope) GL if u decide to follow. Homerecord 1-0-3 14-9, nine of those goals were scored in their first match, 9-1 vs Linköping. That result not important today imo, Brynäs have lost their form and their confidence completely, the three home matches after that one have ended 0-1, 4-5 and 1-2. It's not unusual for a team in crizis to go back to basics and try to find their game again, defending iow. I think that's one of the reasons for Brynäs two latest results, two 1-2 losses. Timrå play well, are ok at the back but pretty toothless, 31 - 25 their goaldifference after 10 matches played, they have only scored more than three goals on two occasions: Modo away, 4-3 and Färjestad at home, 5-5. The match vs Färjestad the only one were they allowed more than 3, they have allowed 3 goals once, 2 goals on 4 occasions 1 goal twice and kept a clean sheet twice. Timrå played under this line 5/9 matches 3 would have been push, only one over. Brynäs are 4/9 under. Stats speaks for this bet, Brynäs situation speaks for it, and I give this line 53-54%. 6/10 Södertälje - Skellefteå Under 5 goals @ 2.05 (Bet365) Pretty much the same reasoning for this one, SSK at home 3-0-1 8-6, 3/4 under, Skellefteå away 0-1-2 3-10, 3/3 under. These problems have shown in their performance lately: 2-7 at home to Västerås, then 1-5 away to Växjö. Nybro will get one new player today, a youth team player from Frölunda, maybe he can add something positive, but I doubt he will make a huge difference. Nyköping have been underachieving with few exceptions so far, 3-2-4 a weaker start than I expected from them, but away they've been ok, 2-0-2, they won vs Hammarby 4-3 and and in their latest away match vs Bofors 7-2, two teams that I rank pretty even with Nybro in today's situation. Nyköping surely the better team and should win today, but they do have problems with their game, so I can't trust them with other than dnb, I really don't think they'll loose this one. At home, 8 goals for and 6 against. Skellefteå AIK at road. Djügarden - Skellefteå AIK 4-0 --> UNDER Timrä - Skellefteå AIK 3-2 (OT) 2-2 at 60min --> UNDER Luleä - Skellefteå AIK 3-1 --> UNDER Three games played away from home and three matches that have finished UNDER. The strange thing is that it costs more to play against teams from the area historically low classification (although this season is quite Pelicans stronger ..) than against teams fighting for Play-Offs or something more like Blues or HPK. Gradually is settling at home where the team is usually strong and hard to beat for the rivals. HIFK far away home, 7 matches, 1 win, 3 draws and 3 loses. Pretty bad start of the season is making HIFK, with surprising results. Defeated at home by Lukko and Ka|pa 0-1 and 0-2 respectively, defeated by a Karpat that until recently was not anything out fine 3-1; Victory in penalties against Ilves 4-3, and three defeats followed against Jokerit, Pelicans and TPS 3-1. 2-4 and 3-2 (OT) respectively. Fairly should change the team to make the results that were planned for this season (top of the league ..) I have no information on whether they have moved any player or something but I think that still does not take at least as much to do so. I take Tappara to win @1.83 at Bet365 GL ! No play for me. - Ässät has problems (as there has been already wrote). Odds are now collapsed, also no play with current odds. - Tappara has been solid last games, Mika Lehto has been very good and whole team has surprised me. HIFK is also in trouble, too many injuries and coach Baxter's coaching skills seems to be not enough for team. Then AIK won after ot away to Västerås, impressing result, albeit they have to thank their goalie for lots of deciding saves. Still an important win and should mean boosted confidence. Växjö's a good team, but they mix high and low and imo look weaker than last season. 5-1 at home to Nybro not much to say about, but 2-3 away vs Sundsvall and only 4-3 after ot at home to Borås, and a 2-5 loss at home to Oskarshamn are results that shows their lack of consistancy. Apart from the Huddinge fiasco AIK have been strong at home: 6-4 vs Bofors, 6-1 vs Björklöven and 3-5 vs Malmö all decent results. Fishtown with 7 winless rounds beat Bietigheim-Bissingen in the last round lucky with 2-0. Both goals were shoot in the last period and Bietigheim loss was unlucky. Ingolstadt with a 4-2 away win over Krefeld looks better for me. They lost versus strong Hamburg Freezers away in the Colorline Arena 0-3 and 3-2 at home versus Augsburg Panthers in the bavarian derby.
