DesD
Good luck to everyone playing in this tonight at Blue Square. Kick off is 8pm, with entry at $20 + $2. There will be a seat at Grosvenor Walsall plus a little cash for every $200 in the prize pool. The event can be found under Tournaments / Specials. There will be a second online satellite on Monday evening and there will be limited seats available by direct buy in on Tuesday at 9pm, via www.apat.com. Cheers, Des. :lol I have been harsh in the past, but only cos ive felt aggrieved by seeing some pro's playing, regardless of what their "offical source of income" is. ANYWAY........... It was a well played and good spirited event and my only bugbare was the lack of entrants meaning that even finishing 4th didnt get you owt! Thank god we were allowed to chop the money 4 out or id have played for 6 hours for nothing. Will there be any APAT reps at the next one? cos we had a few questions that no one could answer and we didnt know what to do:ok

You will be able to get a refund once the Walsall event has been completed. The way the process works, the £75 entry fee was retained within the Regional Casino and will be forwarded to Grosvenor Walsall. They will refund APAT any outstanding entries after the event and we will then refund the players.

Chop? At an APAT event.....let me check the rule book because I'm sure that's a lifelong ban. Next, you'll be telling me you're a pro.... :unsure

Next, you'll be telling me you're a pro.... :unsure I wish!!! if i was a pro id have a better way to spend 6 hours of my life than playing a £20 regional amateur event (id buy into the 75 event and pretend i make my money elsewhere:tongue2) We had asked questions like: can the seats be transfered can the prize money be taken away and more seats added does anyone know when the walsall event is etc etc and we never had an answer, once the tourney had finished some guy called dave introduced himself but again, he didnt know the answers either, and we werent sure if he was legit anyway cos he told us earlier he worked in a bookies.......:unsure
