Kahara 5.30 Newmarket (WIN NAP) The sort of improving type that Cumani does so well with, has won both starts this season. Won on good to firm for Jamie Spencer who said it would prefer some juice in the ground, goes on good and Seb Sanders takes the ride. Should suit step up in trip and be involved at the business end of the race. Knows how to go and win a race.

Re: Thursdays NAPS 04/10/07 2.35 Newmarket 1m, Class 3 handicap with 14 expected to run: Plum Pudding (RPF 9/1) - In simple terms, back this horse when racing at Newmarket, but oppose elsewhere. Today is a 'backing' day. Looking further though, there is plenty of other things to recommend this horse. Top jockey booking with the champ, Ryan Moore, on board, racing at its fav track (3 from 7 here, never won away from HQ), and all wins at this trip. Ground ideal too. Interestingly, dropped to Class 3 today for return to HQ. Record in this grade at Newmarket over this trip reads 211 at 8/1, 8/1 and 7/1. Should be a similar price today and fully expect this horse to be on the premises. 0.5pts EW
