Salisbury 3/10

Re: Salisbury 3/10 A couple of tricky handicaps to close the day, so here are my EW fancies for those races: 4.30 Salisbury Class 4, 6f handicap with 18 potentially lining up: Comptons Eleven (RPF 8/1) - Top weight here but fully justified and a big chance today with Darryl Holland on board. The pick of Channons 2, this is a horse I backed last time it won, at Newmarket. Only 2lb above that winning mark but drop in class is a huge plus today. Won last time in this grade. Lto raced in a very competitve heat and was a very promising 3rd in a race 2 grades higher than todays, whilst race before was over inadequate trip. Remains in good heart and big chance today. 5.00 Salisbury 1m6f Class 5 handicap with 13 going to post: Lapina (RPF 10/1) - Bottom weight is the call here, with this horse 1 of only 3 3yo's in the field. Pat Edderys horses are in cracking form and this one is no exception. Reunited with Richard Mullen who last rode this horse to a victory. Form figures of 323264 show the sort of form it is in, with best run the 2nd on its only try over this trip. Is facing a tougher task today but stable form is a plus as is the likely cut in the ground which Lapina will be suited by. The 3 market leaders have been off the track for too long IMO to be backed at such short prices, so Lapina at a very backable EW price is the call.
