Taking all 4 Godolphins in a L15 e/w. IBN KHALDUN 2.00 Ascot Good-topped colt: second foal: dam, 6f (at 2 yrs) to 1m (including Fillies' Mile and Irish 1000 Guineas) winner, sister to Barathea, an excellent family: marked promise both starts in maidens: odds on, improved when readily winning 10-runner event at Leicester by 1¼ lengths from Forsyte Saga in September, again racing keenly and leading over 1f out: open to considerable further improvement. NEW GUINEA 2.35 Ascot Smart form, most progressive at 3 yrs, winning maiden at Southwell and handicaps at Pontefract and Chester (beat Sunday Symphony by 2 lengths): left M. Jarvis and gelded, improved when 2½ lengths second of 8 to Galactic Star on reappearance in handicap at Doncaster, well clear of remainder: likely to stay 1¾m: acts on fibresand, good to firm and good to soft going. LAVEROCK 3.45 Ascot Goes well on this ground and over this distance, yard bang in form. 2½ lengths behind Papal Bull in Princess of Wales's Stakes at Newmarket (off 3½ months beforehand, made hard work of getting up to share second): below best since in King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot (8 lengths fourth to Dylan Thomas), Rheinland-Pokal at Cologne (2½ lengths fourth of 5 to Saddex) and Bosphorus Cup at Veliefendi (2½ lengths third to Bussoni): stays 1½m: acts on soft and good to firm going. Should be there or there abouts and at 5/1 its an E/W to nothing. RAMPALLION 3.10 Ascot Rampallion is more effective with some cut in the ground. Big, good-topped colt: half-brother to several winners, including smart 6.5f (Prix Maurice de Gheest) to 1m winner May Ball (by Cadeaux Genereux) and useful 1½m winner Taunt (by Robellino): dam unraced out of smart half-sister to top-class miler Welsh Pageant: useful form, very lightly raced: won handicap at Newmarket on belated 3-y-o reappearance: good short-head second to Folio in similar event at Windsor next time, rallying well: not right in coat, ran poorly in handicap at Doncaster on belated reappearance: will stay 1½m: raced on good to soft ground.

ReasoningDISTINCTION gets here the opportunity to win his first race this year, after comining back slowly from an inury problem. He has won in today's distance, and ground, further he was the favourite last year in the Gold-Cup, racing with a Classy horses as Yets, Reefscape, and Sergeant Cecil, agroup far best than today's

ReasoningAKAREM is a Course/Distance winner, and on a Good-Soft/Heavy ground, so this fact gives him a chance here, in a massive price. Is't true that his performances lately are'nt good, (probably too busy), but repeating his old form when he wins here on a Soft in a 2.35.65sec, will give him possibilities, specially now that he has a good mark.

ReasoningSONNY RED was last time here at Ascot back of Balthazaar's Gift and Al Qasi (2 of today's Market leaders), after having bit problem in running. This was a good effort, on a Good-Soft ground at 6f, distance which suits better than the longer that he tried before. He has won twice on a soft as well, and great performance in Craven Stakes , when second to Adagio. I think he deserves an EW chance in huge price.
