Re: Brighton 26/09/07 2.10 Brighton Top and high drawn horses do well in these sprints at Brighton and one that fits the bill here is Frenvent Prince. Is blinkered for the first time today and this should help the horse with Seb on board to get home in front. First try in a nursery today, after losing a shoe last time out. 2.40 Brighton A seller here and another high draw winner hopefully this time in the shape of Imagrey. This horse should go well here for John Egan who has never ridden the horse in contest before but one note that i always take into consideration here is the Egan-Moore partnership and even more considering Moore's excellent profit when dropping his horses into sellers for the first time (See 'Hugh Taylor's Trendspotting' Thread). 3.40 Brighton Stef Liddiard has an interesting runner here in the shape of Roman Boy who has been dropping down the weights very steadliy. Now this horse couldnt get anywhere near last time over a trip that wasnt adequate, and today drops back to favoured mile trip. Mostly campiagned on the All Weather and this could be the horses downfall, but what does interest me is that on the all weather the horse has won afew times over this trip and is drawn very well today, compared to most of the market Principles, Definatly an E/W shout for me at 12's. 4.10 Brighton Gay Kelleway sends Bienheureux here today and is a horse i often back, but seems to let me down sumwhat. But today I will side with him again in this poor race. He often travels very well and can find something off the bridle but sometimes nothing. He has won here before and done it quite afew times over this distance and for this pilot, should take all the beating here. 4.40 Brighton Danehill Silver put up a great display last time out and can defy top weight here from a good draw. Only gone up 3 lbs in the handicapper for the 2nd last time and a repeat of that should see the horse come up trumps. 5.10 Brighton Support Fund for Even Johnson Houghton can put up a good display here. Won a race at Brighton over this trip 3 starts ago and i dont think will of finished improving yet the three year old, Patrick Hills takes off 4 lbs which will be helpful and drawn in a stall that in 6f sprints has thrown up 5 winners of the 10 runs back in 2005.
