Matron Stakes 2.40 Leopardstown I really don't understand why the big drift on Red Evie, has word got out on course that the horse is not right because I don't understand why a proven Group 1 horse that has won over course and distance would go all the way out to 7-2 from favouritism? I fancy both Red Evie and Arch Swing this afternoon. Red Evie should be ok if the ground isn't too quick and Arch Swing was a bit unlucky when getting stuck behind horses and has obvious improvement in the tank as a 3 yr old. I'd suggest getting on Red Evie at that price regardless of the negativity.

Re: Leopardstown - Sat 08/09/07 Irish Champion Stakes 3.50 Leopardstown I really can't see past Dylan Thomas and I can see why people on here have NAPPED it. It really is a top class perfomer over this trip but I can't get involved at odds on. I'd thought about a small bet on Finsceal Beo but there is the obvious question mark over the 1m2f trip. I think it will be better suited on good to firm ground and is definitely a Group 1 horse so its a question of is it worth taking at decent odds when it is unproven at the trip??? Generally 8-1.
