SP & Betfairs Odds Equivalents

Have spent a week or so downloading English Horse Racing Odds at the 'off' to get the equivalent Betfair odds to typical SP odds. Obviously some anomalies i.e. 2.20 SP, but you can see a pattern forming. Hope it's of use!!

Re: SP & Betfairs Odds Equivalents Tricky subject, everyone has a different process of deciding when to place a bet, so the actual price depends on the person, live testing is the trick. Still, table looks like a great starting point. In my personal experience when i place bets on horse racing close to the off i manage on average a price that is 10% above SP. (before commission) Seems to fit your table well enough.

Guessed it might be. Only posted the table so that those that extract historic information from the various sites available, which invariably only have a typical Bookmakers SP odds quoted and/or a guesstimation of the Betfair BACK odds, have something a little bit 'scientific' ;).

No!! I kept going until the odds remained within 2% of the previous days accumulations (if you see what I mean!!) i.e. if I collected a full days of data today, and the odds did not change by more than 2% when added to the previous 'x' days accumulations, then I decided that no matter how many more days of data I collected the odds were not going to significantly change any more.
