Making Money - Anyone?

Something that intrigues me.......who makes a profit from their horse racing betting? I know lots of people fall into the trap of 'just having a bet' for a bit of interest, and I think this is where people lose their money. Most people who do this, in my experience, always fail to record their losses but are quick enough to brag about their winnings. Personally, I was one of these people until I came on PL. Now I only back horses that are in my specialist thread, despite the temptation of betting 'for a bit of interest', so well in profit this year. And the staking for me is much greater than the 5pts EW I use for recording results in my thread. Interested to hear your thoughts / comments:ok
