Short price fav, but one which could easily get turned over on this better ground and better race so we have a long priced selection: Tough Love (RPF 20/1) - Big price here but not without a chance. C&D winner, who clearly loves it at Thirsk, with 2 wins to its name here. Low draw is ideal on the round course here, and is back in its class, Class 5. Has finished plumb last on its last 2 starts, hence the price, but this runs are ignored due to better class of race and the soft ground. Best form now seems to be 7f, looks unsuited by a mile nowadays, 5 of its 6 career wins have come on GF which it faces here and is 3 from 11 in this grade, so has conditions to suit. Only ever raced twice in this grade over this C&D, winning both times off marks of 67 & 69, today races off 70. Riskier proposition than some of the recent bets, but have to play at 20/1.
