Re: Ayr 23/07/07 5.15 Ayr Closing race on the card sees 18 runners for this 6f charge down the straight course, Class 6 handicap. Very open looking race, so we'll look for a double figure priced horse in: Charles Parnell (RPF 12/1) - Generally, this course favours high drawn horses (or at least a horse with a rail draw) so stall 15 of 18 looks perfect here for Michaels Dods' charge. Has looked in good form recently in big field races, none more so than lto when 4th of 18 here off this mark. That was Class 5, and now dropped in grade. Only other try in this grade came the start previous, but trip of 7f was all wrong so easily forgiven that effort. Stable in reasonable form, and racing against mainly poorly treated or out of form horses, looks to have a major E/W chance.
