Going to have a crack at the 2yo maiden races, albeit a bit late to kick this off. Will see how it goes for the remainder of the season, and see if we can make a bit of profit. Quite a few races to kick us off tomorrow, so here goes. All bets will be 5pts EW. 2.15 Nottingham 9 runners for this 6f race, with a strong fav in G1 entry, Exhibition, who should win this easy. No Bet 1.00 Newbury 14 runners start here, for the opener over 6f. Candle Sahara (RPF 14/1) - only 5 of these have seen a racecourse before, and this is one of them. Made its debut here 15 days ago, and ran well on ground that probably didn't suit. 4th of 8, with 1st and 2nd being the only runners with experience in that contest. Ran very green that day and will come on lots for that run, after running on well in the closing stages. Interesting (although coincidence) that stall 1 has provided 4 of the last 10 winners, and that Mick Channon has trained 2 of the last 6 winners. Open event, and I think this horse will go well. 1.30 Newbury Div 2 of the above event, with 13 lining up. Not keen on the chances of any here, so I'm expecting the front 2 in the betting, Visit (trained by Michael Stoute) and Edge Of Gold (Bryan Palling) to fight out the finish, with Visit probably taking the honours. At 6/4, I can't get involved. No Bet 2 more from Newbury to post up and 1 from Newmarket. Will post these up probably in the morning;)
