4.50 - JACK DAWSON - Please note that this is NOT being run on the All-Weather. Again quite a few either out of form , not had a recent run or have doubts about the distance. The best of a poor bunch seem's to be JACK DAWSON who has won 4 times over 2 miles , prefers G/F going [9 / 11 wins been on that type of ground] Last won 5 runs ago , back in August of last year , and it's last 4 runs have been in CLASS 4 races [ Class 5 today] and in the meantime has dropped 4lb down to 72 , has won at 74 . Record in Class 5 races = 3 wins , 2 places from 7 races . Its record when running 2 - 3 races after making it's debut makes interesting reading ; It didn't win as a 2y-old , after that season it record was [ first number was it's debut position] - 0,0,0,2. 0,4,0,1. 4,2,1. 2,4,3. 3,0,1. 5,2. 0,1 Although i'm wary of trainer J.BERRY not being in form i think the rest of the figures merit a bet on the selection.
