3.00 - KYBER - Taking on a PRESCOTT odds-on FAV here , so either EW or place advised . A C/D winner [class 5 ] back on 22 June and up 4lb in the BHB ratings for that victory , a repeat of that run can see him finish in the first 3 imo. The race has 10 runners so far but with quite a few out of form [ PERRATT'S 3 at the bottom of the handicap for starters ] and not all proven at the DISTANCE this could be a decent place prospect. :hope

Re: Ayr 16/7 Curtail : Racin post has this down as "upped in class" however, if we delve a little further back (nearly 2 years) we can see this was a class 1 winner here over the same 5f on good ground. I'm a firm believer that every stable has a "gamblig horse" and with the trainer "semple" having 2 in this race, today could be the day as long as the official going is "good". Its slightly higher in the BHB than when it last won but as we all know, a good horse improves with age . Its drawn 3 and im hopin hows she cuttin, cuts across and makes the running to give curtail a tow along. E.W. for me but the goin must be good.
