Guys I'm interested in compiling my own ratings and was just wondering how everyone else goes about it. How many categories would you use, ie, draw advantage, course form, going form, etc and what pointage would you give for each particular category. For example, if a horse has form on a particular going would you allocate it, say, 5 points and 0 points for no form on going, or position LTO, would you allocate say 3pts for 1st place, 2pts for 2nd,etc? I hope this is all making sense as I think I'm begining to confuse myself :loon I have tried rating a couple of races but havent as yet managed to get final odds of lower than 6/1, so I'm obviously going wrong somewhere :wall Any help on the subject would be greatly received:cheers
