At the moment I'm paper trialling and refining a new system focusing on handicaps. I'm moving some cash from my various poker accounts into betfair to begin small scale cash trials. My questions are; 1) Using equal stakes what per cent of my bank should I be using per bet, going on poker experience I would try 2% but let me know what you think. 2) How long a run should I be looking at for the paper trial and then the small cash stakes trial. Any advice would be welcome.

The long answer is "It depends ...". Having said that, 2% of your bank looks sensible unless your bets are at very high odds. "How long a trial?" really does depend. The higher the odds and the smaller the apparent edge you have, the longer a trial you'll need before you can be reasonably confident that you do have an edge.
