wageringwar
While even a once-a-week punter like me could see there'd been a bit of 'afters' in the race at HQ, where the jockeys aboard the first two tangled whip arms on the run in, none of the Channel 4 team so much as mentioned it. I know they were only on the air for a couple more minutes but perhaps the plugging of their upcoming schedule and Newmarket's Friday night promotions could have taken a back seat just this once, while John Francome discussed what had been going on in the race. It was all a bit amateur, I thought and I'm normally a C4 fan. They'd picked up on the spat straight away over on William Hill radio.
