Guest ralphie7 Posted February 11, 2004 Share Posted February 11, 2004 LINGFIELD 04:50 ZALKANI f/c. 13/2 Five maidens, best efforts with waiting tactics over 1m2f here last two starts following seven months off (notably first occasion; favourite latest); has reportedly had wind problems; comparatively unexposed and, although more required, market support for handicap debut back in trip would be interesting. LTO. Zalkani travelled nicely before the turn for home and was switched to the outside to give chase. He still had plenty of ground to make up at this stage and did close a little, but hung left and his effort was short-lived.
