Dodger
Sporting Odds (Boss) will currently upgrade to Paradise Poker (Boss) when you log on to the site. Sporting Odds (Paradise) is currently offline, but the network status carries the following message... --------------------------------------------- Report from Paradise Poker support staff: The Paradise Game Server is down for maintenance. We are in the process of upgrading to a new improved software platform! Due to the nature of these changes, The Paradise game server will be down for approximately 5 hours while we conduct the upgrade and expect to be back online by 6pm BST. Please note that you will be unable to access Paradise during this time. When the server comes back, you will be instantly prompted to upgrade to the new software. Please bear with us while we make these changes and we look forward to seeing you in the all new Paradise Poker. --------------------------------------------- As there was a message at 12.15 saying ''server shutting down for 2 minutes in 5 minutes time'', maybe there are problems. aimar21
Re: Paradise poker switch I used to play 3$ STT's at boss now the lowest I can find is 5$ STT's. I asked them if they will be available again but as always they don't know anything and they can't help me. Anyone who knows what happened to them? Are they removed? I have a bankroll of 25 at the moment(without deposit) so I can only lose 4 STTs I believe. :lol
avongirl
Re: Paradise poker switch I still can't get into Paradise as it's saying my log in or password details are incorrect. Sent a request for details last night but no reply from them yet. (why aren't I surprised!) Are there different tournaments listed in the lobby on Paradise to those listed on SportingOdds? And presumably you can't have both open at the same time because that would be 2 versions of Boss software running?

gavham
Re: Paradise poker switch I thought mine were the same' date=' but it's not having it![/quote'] The only way i can log in is through the old SO software it updates then continue going through the old SO software icon. i tried going in using the paradise icon, it updated then put another icon on my desktop i cant login using that icon. As i say the only way seems to be using the old SO icon. Hope this makes sense
Dodger
Re: Paradise poker switch My log in details were definitely the same, but it will not let me register from the Paradise upgrade...but as the site you are connecting to is the same site then it is not going to allow two aliases (alii / aliasses ????) from the same log in details. So I am now stuck with Douser and my DodgerPL has gone down the drain. My problem is this...what happens with the Paradise league if I am playing under a different alias? I guess quite a lot will be in the same boat so would not be at all surprised to see the rest of the games cancelled and settlement as the table stands now. This will cause a lot less problems than running it with players not knowing if their scores are to count.
Penelopeys
Re: Paradise poker switch I just tried to log in on SO and it went smoothly... Haven't tried Paradise but I don't see any reason to try both as they're the same now, right??

Haven't tried Paradise but I don't see any reason to try both as they're the same now, right?? Yes, SO was no problem. Perhaps if I'd logged in through Paradise first that would have been OK and then I would have had problems with SO. I'm still thinking they are 2 different sites, but you're probably right that they are one and the same and that's why I can't get in. :ok Still no response from them about log in details so I'll just leave it and see how slow they are and then what they say. I wouldn't be bothering with Paradise anyway if it weren't for the Poker League, so hopefully that will appear on the SO Boss site. If so, will be interesting to see if they marry up everyone's different usernames from the 2 sites. edit: ooh, I'm so slow today. Let us know how you get on Pene. friskyfitz
Re: Paradise poker switch :loon:loon:loon:loon Just playing a $10 SPEED STT and 3 left ... On SB im dealt A9.I go ALL IN. BB calls with AJ suited Rainbow flop with Jack Falls.... Now heres the thing... I have "Show hand strenght" ticked. This says my chances of winning are 0% - There is no flush or straight opportunity and no straight opportunity either... WHY??? If 9,9 falls then I win EH?? Turn useless and JACK on the RIVER... Can anybody explain that If they are using a random generated hand ???? I know the chance of 9,9 is very slim but...... The system OBVIOUSLY KNEW that a jack would fall or no 9 would fall I was too slow to catch the screen shot

GaF
Re: Paradise poker switch lol @ Frisky I have noticed that the odds on display on Boss are wrong in relation to runner runner outs ...... Maybe the odds in this case were rounded to 0% though? (did one of your 9's give him the flush? Meaning that only 2 specific cards were of value to you?)
