Reasoning	Progressed in fine fashion last season from maidens to handicaps and eventually finished 4th in the St Leger. That form has worked out well as it was behind Sixties Icon and Red Rocks, which have both won already this season and boosted the form. Placed twice at 1m6f and today goes over 1m5f 89yds. Still looks progressive and Stoute has his horses in fine form. Always seemed to be doing its best work at the end of its races over shorter trips and should be good enough to get involved today in a Group 3 with Anna Pavlova looking to be the biggest danger.

Old sniffy has a good record here and this combo of McEvoy and Stoute are running well at the moment. Our selection ran green LTO when winning at Nottingham over a mile and should progress enough to land this.

2.50 Chester: SCORPIAN

Very classy horse who failed to live up to expectations last season but does run well when fresh and this St Leger winner can get back to winning ways under top jock Mick Kinane 4.35 Chester: STRETTON Won this last year and he bids for his 4th win at Chester for his season debut and has the benefit of the inside draw.
