Punchestown ~ 27/4/07

Recommended Posts

4:05 I thnk Hardy Eustace will win again today has'nt ran a bad race yet this season which is more than can be said for a large number of these. Macs Joy despite winning this race last year was well held by Hardy in the AIG hurdle, never made it to Chletenham and was beaten in poor flat race since so hard to fancie now. Sweet Wake could run a big race at huge price and we've seen some shocks so far this week so dont write this one off. 3:30 My main bet of the day is going to be a nice chunky e/w bet on Ponmeath in this race. After a shaky start over fences( falling first 2 times out) has progressed well in novice events this season. Produced a remarkable effort in the Kim Muir at the Cheltenham festival. Stamina was the final undoing of him that day last time out when was going well until hitting a flat spot 3 out so todays 2 mile 5f should be ideal.

Re: Punchestown ~ 27/4/07 4.05 Punchestown: IKTITAF one of my Hot Horses. Forget his run at Leopardstown as apparently he wasn't well, running well at Cheltenham LTO tracking the leading pair when falling 3 out. He has established himself as a top-class hurdler with victory over three highly experienced rivals in Grade 1's and can take this.
