Reasoning	Should not be good enough to take this but has tumbled down the weights and is on a fairly decent mark. Has won over the distance and it's best effort recently was a 3rd place on good to firm but over further. Race fit and still plugging away in class 3 level and if it eventually wins again it will be at a massive price.

2.30 Perth: PIGEON ISLAND

Ran a fine 2nd in blinkers for the first time at Newbury LTO, Nigel Twisten-Davies has an excellent record here and although our selection is still a maiden after 14 starts connections expect a big run today.

3.40 Perth: LANKAWI

Much improved since sent chasing by Peter Bowen and latest 2nd at Aintree is solid handicap form. Going to be mighty hard to peg back if reproducing that effort on this easier ground.

4.15 Perth: LENNON Won this handicap hurdle last a year ago and should go close. Although this 7yr old runs off a 10lb higher mark he is still 20lbs lower than his chase rating and he can out class his rivals.
