Re: Windsor 23/04 2nd bet for today (after the one at Ponty) is here at Windsor's evening meet:- GAZBOOLOU (6.25 Windsor) 1m handicap here over 1m, with every one of the 14 3yo runners having already visited the winners enclosure. I'm pretty convinced that a double figure draw is key here and that should make Stoutes charge Lacework a pretty warm order. However, I can't back it at such a short price on its seasonal reappearance so let's find the EW bet, which is Gazboolou at a very big 16/1. Runner up on all 4 starts last term but kicked off the 2007 season with a win in a maiden at Musselburgh. Needs to step up on that effort, but the 1st 2 pulled well clear in that event. Well regarded by the trainer who thinks it may progess to Listed company, and is being targetted at a big prize at Haydock soon. To justify that, it must run a big race here, and should go well at a big price from a good draw, EW possibilities.
