I feel a right twat now. Here's the story: I normally get an email from my old man asking me to put his horses on online when I am off work. He normally stakes about £20 but doubles it at big meetings. Today I got an email through with a 40p Heinz and a £2 Yankee. All fair and well, except he only had £20 in the account to cover it. I pondered what do do but in the end thought I would just stake it for him and we could sort it out later. After I had placed the bet I realised I would have to cut down on my own stakes for my own horses. I did this and placed the bets. Just 10 minutes ago, I gave him a call to tell him he did not have enough money to cover his horses so I paid the difference. All I heard from the other end of the phone was " You stupid ******* " Confused at the reaction, I asked him what was wrong and he told me to check the email. I checked it and to my horror saw it had written on the top "HAVE DONE" So I have now doubled his stake which he had already doubled as he had already put the bloody bet on himself at the local bookies! Fingers crossed it comes in so we dont end up out of pocket.
