jolly67
Re: Poker Player mag Oh wow!! Cheers mate :ok You'd need pretty good eye sight to see this in front of your opponents though!!!! I think the idea here is that in a self dealt game the clued up dealer would get the advantage. There's a wee magic shop in Queen St Glasgow called Tam Shepherds, it's been there for ever, still looks the same as the first time I got took in, they sell marked decks and they're much more subtle than those 2 examples, every card is marked. daveygh
Re: Poker Player mag look at the cherub in the top left corner' date=' beside it's left wing is a little clubs symbol, to the right of that there is a scrolled 9, look at it upside down it's the same:tongue2[/quote'] can see what you mean but surely the cards would be obvious with a different number instead of a 9 ie 10 or

GaF
Re: Poker Player mag Just been searching the net - this uses "3d Magic Eye" - look at it cross eyed and you can see it's the King Hearts :loon Found this that looks similar to our deck ..... cant see how the A comes about .... but the 9 looks common ...... there should be another number there I think :unsure
Ell Ess Dee
Re: Poker Player mag My theory, bit far out, but makes sense (to me anyway) Clearly where I have put the arrow the card has been marked - check opposite side. I see this as the zodiac sign Aries.. Seeing as Aries is considered first in the zodiac calender, my guess is it's the Ace of Clubs.
msaban
Re: Poker Player mag so, basically, if playing with a cross eyed dealer who studies each and every card before dealing then theres a fair chance the cards are marked
dik9
Re: Poker Player mag Haven't seen the cards or the article, but i know this deck quite well :) the easiest way of determining the card is count the birds and compare to another card you may find some missing, or in different positions
Ell Ess Dee
Re: Poker Player mag That's what I thought first. He's a pic of the full card. Only taken with camera, scanner in the attic..
dik9
Re: Poker Player mag http://marked-cards.com/default.htm (check the youtube at bottom of page) I would say using the theory explained, as the scan indicates no birds missing it would be the Ace of Clubs, depending on the way the deck was marked.
