Reasoning	Could be in the handicappers grip but could also be excuses for recent placed efforts, ran ok at Southwell but prefers Lingfield and Wolverhampton. Was 3rd just 3 days ago, seemed to lack pace but that was over 1m and the horse seems better over further than that but must have ew chance off same mark on a surface that suits.

The selection is Nans Joy, still a maiden but ran very well lto in a Cl 4 handicap when just failing to reel in the winner. Todays race is in Cl 5 company. Beaten 2 starts ago by Convivial Spirit, and reopposes today. The fact that the trainer turns out this horse only 3 days since last run indicates it's clearly in good heart and is expected to run well here. Also fancy the forecast and tricast here, suggest Nans Joy / Convivial Spirit / Cherri Fosfate
