Favourite Racecourse?

I've no doubt this has been done before but whats everyone's favourite track and what makes it your favourite? A Big win? The setting? I've probably got to a dozen or so racecourses but my fave is one of the most recent ones i've been to . . . . Hexham. About 15 of us went for my birthday in October. It is a stunning setting and is just a great day out. It must be good as out of the 15 of us, I was the only one who didnt have a single winner!!! :lol The facilites are basic shall we say but i dont mind that so much, you can get very close to the saddling enclosure and parade ring etc and you whenever i'm there i just get the feeling that "this is what racing should be". I have been back since and wan't disappointed. So . . . . whats yours?!

Re: Favourite Racecourse? i just love sandown especially the evening fixtures in the summer. You know everyone has had to fight through the traffic to get to the place by 5.45 & the first beer is very welcoming. views are great, the paddock excellent, food not too bad, decent racing, loads of fillies :ok Keep thinking about a season ticket each year but with footie will keep missing out.
