In here please:ok 3.00.....Nikki Bea (RPF 12/1) Cl 6, 12 runner, 1 mile handicap to concentrate on here. Fav will be runaway Kempton winner Spot The Subbie. 3 things that make me want to oppose this horse today - inside draw not ideal for come from behind horse, raised 8lbs for lto win and yet to win here at Lingfield. On top of that, Egan is not on top today, although adequate replacement in Mongan. Mystic Man must have a chance off a 1lb lower mark than 2nd lto in similar race to this, but the extra furlong is unlikely to be in its favour. Im Ova Ere Dad is another lto winner but having won by only a neck, its seems doubtful it can repeat the feat with a penalty. Green Pirate has met trouble in running the last twice but is capable, however very wide draw may be a problem. King After has a bout of 2nd'itis and seems undecided over its best distance so should be opposed today, whilst Moyoko could go close at its best but is yet to prove it can go left handed and is well held by Spot The Subbie. Roman Boy is raised 5lb for a 5L beating by the subsequently disappointing Picador, State Dilemna has an outside chance but may be better over shorter. This leaves us with Nikki Bea, which hails from the same stable as fav, Spot The Subbie. C&D winner which is a plus, and lto over C&D was a close 1L 4th of 9 in a Cl 5 handicap. This is a drop in class, as well as racing off a 4lb lower mark (is due to go up 3lb in the future). Well drawn in box 4 for a horse that races up with the pace too. Back in this grade, this horse should run well at rewarding odds.

Re: Lingfield 31/01/07 13:00 - Indigo Dancer (RPF 8/1) Eye catching run last time out - just not reached winner but rapidly eating up the ground. Decent jockey booking with Catlin on board. Bottom weight, perfect distance - will be fit from 1st race last week after 7 week break. Only negative could be the draw - Can someone please help me out by telling me how big a disadvantage a low draw is at Lingfield over 10f ? Thanks, Haitch
