:ok Tips in here 2.55.....Reaching Out (RPF 10/1) Only 1 race to concentrate on at Lingfield today, the 13 runner 1m2f handicap at 2.55. Kilimandscharo, on a hat trick, will assume favouritism here but can be opposed as it faces a 6lb higher mark, Lingfield track debut and a rise in grade. Luxurix is interesting but not for me at 7/2, having been off the track for 893 days. Topiary Ted could easily be the one, despite being 6lb higher. Another on a hat trick but has won in this grade lto and hails from the in form Morrison yard. Should finish in the 3, but another making course debut which puts enough of a question mark against a horse quoted around the 9/2 mark. Thats the front 3 taken care of, now onto the EW horses. Ile Facile ran a promising race after a year off at Kempton lto, but doubts remain that the horse will progress from that run, whilst Storm of Arabia will struggle in this grade. Berkhamsted disappointed lto and has something to prove, but Sky Quest has an outside EW chance judged on 2nd lto in Cl 4 race here. The selection is Reaching Out, who has bottom weight here. Won over this C&D 3 starts ago in Cl 6 (this is Cl 5) and is 7lb higher. However, was a good 2nd off its revised mark at Wolverhampton, over a trip too short when staying on to good effect all too late. Was stepped up to this grade on its last run and finished a creditable 4th that day. Wasn't helped though by the slow pace that day, and the race suited those close to the pace, therefore that may just be a better effort than it seems in hindsight from this late finisher.
