As per EW fancies thread :- Golden Spectrum (5.20 Wolverhampton) RP f/c 12/1 Won at the course the time before last at odds of 40/1 and descibed by the racing post as a shock win. Don't entirely agree because the horse is always thereabouts when racing close to 9 furlongs at Wolverhampton although admittedly some of this form is in banded stakes. LTO at Southwell adopted front running tactics which isn't the horses forte so I can easily forgive that poor run. Can't be confident as this is a slightly better race than he's been running in but if ridden with more restraint today should give us a run for our money at a price.

Re: Wolverhampton 13/01 HARARE (5.20) Won here 2 starts ago and then close up 6th to odds-on shot last week but a little disapponting nevertheless. Rarely run 2 races the same, so could bounce back here at 8/1 Sporting Odds. E/W bet for me. GRACE BAY (5.50) Very poor run on debut and hard to fancy but this is a weak race and at 80/1 Sporting Odds, place possibilities albeit slim ones! Did hang badly left at Kempton on debut so should be more at home here. Minimum stakes EW.
