December Bankers

Recommended Posts

Happy New Year all! Well, after a few close scrapes, I finally came through Christmas with all limbs safely intact and have managed to get to the computer again to take a look at the December Bankers thread. Altogether in December, there were 126 selections. 61 of these were Winners, giving you a 48.4% hit rate. Chronologically (i.e. the bet in the 13:20 would come before the bet in the 15:30) your longest winning run came over the 28th and 29th of December where you hit six successive winners. Your longest losing run came during the 5th and 6th of December when you had 5 losers on the bounce. There were several sequences over the month of around 3 losers. If you had started with a £100 betting bank and bet Level Stakes of £10 on each selection at SP. Your bank at the end of December would have been wiped out and you would now be looking at a bank -£11.80. Top Rated There were 29 Top Rated selections. Of these, 11 won. This gives a 37.9% strike rate. Longest winning run was between 18th December and 20th December when you had 3 winners on the bounce. Longest losing run was between 13th December and 17th December when you had 5 losers on the bounce. £10 L.S. bets at SP would have seen your £100 bank decrease to £27.30 by the end of December. Hot Picks There were 29 Hot Picks. Of these 16 won. Giving a strike rate of 55.2%. Longest winning run was 5. Longest losing run was 7. Same routine as before, your £100 bank would have decreased to £52.80 by the end of December. The Top Rated was a Hot Pick 5 times in December and 3 of them won. Conclusion December was just a bad bad month for betting, it felt like big odds on runners were getting turned over on an almost predictable basis. Things picked up in both Horse Racing generally and for the Bankers thread specifically towards the end of December (and, encouragingly, this has continued into the New Year - you have had 3 from 3 Top Rated winners so far already). Overall I started doing this at the start of November and a £100 bank with £10 L.S. on all selections would now be down slightly to £92.80. Top Rated bank would be down to £73.70. Hot Picks would be still showing a healthy profit at £129.70. There were only 3 "Dreaded Mondays" during December and you had just 8 bets - 5 of which won giving you a 62.5% strike rate!
