Decree Nisi has side stepped some hot looking events at Sandown and Hereford to take in the 3:20 at Chepstow on Wednesday. The word from the stable is that they fully expect to land the prize at the expense of the likely hotpot Marodima.

The form of Marodima looks very solid, finished second on the course last time to Freeze the Flame who franked the form by trouncing a weak field at Cheltenham. However Decree Nisi also recorded a useful first run finishing third after holding every chance, beaten less than 8 lengths. The second that day, Katies Tutor has since run a cracker at Kempton, blitzing a useful looking field by 20 lengths. One of those she beat was Urban Tiger a useful 85+ rated handicapper on the flat.

The stable have been really pleased with the progress of Decree Nisi and expect her to come on a lot for the first run over hurdles and be an attractive price due to the proximity of Marodima.
