Masterplan
Re: Omaha H/L - KQ66 dbl suited in BB i would definately want to, suits, sets and overcards is a lot to draw out to, but at 150/300 i think you can wait for a better spot. Valiant23
Re: Omaha H/L - KQ66 dbl suited in BB How strong is a pocket overpair (KK or AA) HU in Omaha? Thats my guess on him, although he could be drawing to a flush the same as you, in which case you've had it. Like Masterplan I would be tempted. My intitial hand read was trips. Paulie_D
Re: Omaha H/L - KQ66 dbl suited in BB How strong is a pocket overpair (KK or AA) HU in Omaha? Let's look at your hand. You have no low hand, no high hand to speak of (other than a flush draw - see below) and you're beaten by any pair higher than 6's. If he's drawing to a flush then he'd have to have the Ace to push all-in unless he's a complete nutter (not impossible if he's pushed with a draw). If he's any player, I'd guess at him having something like As 2x(s?) (for the Lo) with a good possiblity of trips (for the Hi) already. Personally, tight is right in Omaha H/L, so I usually don't get involved unless I have a good chance of scooping both Hi & Lo pots. Call?...can't even think about it! Folding is a no-brainer. My small blinds worth.
Jaded
Re: Omaha H/L - KQ66 dbl suited in BB Good advice, Paulie - I went for it cause I decided the pot odds were about right, got my flush... and he hit a full house! :wall
ubermonkey1
Re: Omaha H/L - KQ66 dbl suited in BB definate fold for me . with no lo hand its a very bad move to draw for a probable half pot, even though your getting 4to1 on your chips
