thepokerprincess Posted October 17, 2006 Share Posted October 17, 2006 :nana Hi All, I'm just curious to see if anyone is signed up for/planning to sign up for the World Poker Finals at Foxwoods Resort Casino? I've been to Foxwwods a few times and have been pretty lucky there, thus far. I'm only an amateur, but I figured I'd give it a shot. Anyhow...if anyone else is interested in going: opening day qualifying is October 25th, final tables are on November 16th, and the grand finale is November 17th. Let me know if anyone plans on attending! And...if anyone's been to any of these WPT events at Foxwoods before, I'd really like to hear what it was like. I highly doubt even the hardiest soul on here is travelling all the way to the US to play any events or satellites (unless they qualified online). If I recall correctly it's run by an native american tribe on a reservation, and thus operates outside of normal US law. Not been myself, but now people who have and love the place.
