Re: Nhl 16/10/06 Sabres certainly looks almost a sure thing. Regular time odds are around 2.1, which looks great. They are going for 10 consecutive wins which would match their record, which must be an added incentive. Philli have had a poor start and this fixture has not really come at a good time for them. However, all but one of the wins for the Sabres has been tight, which puts me off a regular time bet and the ML odds are a bit too skinny for me, so I will leave it alone I think, although I almost talked myself round then :lol . I am going to take a chance in the Flames @ Canadians game though with a tie at 4.3 on betfair. Montreal have already had 3 ties from 4 games and 1 LTO at home. The Flames also tied LTO away, and there has been a 1 point defecit in 2 of the other 4 games. Taking a tie is always a big risk I think but this has the makings of one in my opinion. Finally I am betting Dallas ML @ 2.26 on betfair. Dallas can also match a record tonight with their best start in franchise history. Dallas last season was second best on the road, and have already won 4/4 on raod this season. However, the Sharks have also started off strongly and are 4-1, with 2/2 at home. SJS were strong on the road last season but their home record was mediocre. Series last season was 4-2-2 in Dallas' favour, and I just think they are worth chancing with the better odds in what should be a tough game. Good Luck to anyone else as well :hope
