Re: Of interest to us Poker players: Those theiving bar stewards at Barclays Thing is, this is not a Neteller charge or a charge by my bank. It's all US$, so no exchange rate problem, and has been charged by the bank Neteller sent the money to to pay in to my Citi account. So why has this intermediary nicked cash off me?. Still waiting to hear from Neteller. Citi to their credit sent me the transfer details and told me it was Barclays USA

Re: Of interest to us Poker players: Those theiving bar stewards at Barclays I am just in the process of opening an off-shore USD bank account to move USD between Poker/Sportsbooks/Casino and Neteller. I thought this would eliminate any charges so I'd be interested to hear the outcome on this one. The crazy thiing in your situation is that you would have been better off withdrawing to a UK bank account in STG and get raped by Neteller at 1.9%; it would have been cheaper than what Barclays UK charged you. Have you had many USD transactions in the past without any charges being levied? In the T&C's for my Nationwide Int. USD account it does state that there may be a charge if the funds are received from a non-uk bank. Hmm, ....there must be some way of getting USD electronically from Neteller to a USD bank account without incurring any charges. Any ideas?

Re: Of interest to us Poker players: Those theiving bar stewards at Barclays Yeah I had a bit of a neteller 'mare when trying to withdraw from spin palace. They made me put neteller as my alternative withdrawal route (after debit card) but wouldn't let me withdraw to my debit card anyway. The result? My hard earned winnings going down the swanny in various charges. It's a scam I tells ya, a scam!

Never had any charges before, and moved amounts from $20 to $250, bar of course the $1 Neteller charge, which is fair enough. This isn't a charge from Barclays UK, but Barclays USA, and I bank with Citibank for my US$!. Citi have told me the charge was levelled by the intermediary used by Neteller, in this case Barclays USA. They don't charge as it can be done through Citi in the US apparently. So I spoke to Neteller, who sent me back the usual shite, $1 charge, 1.9% on exchange rates (which I wouldn't incur, as I'm moving US$ to US$), etc. I have yet to respond to them to say they have not answered my question.:@ :@
