Jumps Season

After the recent survey where most people seem to favour the jumps, I was interested in knowing the following for the 2006/7 season:- 1) who are your jockeys to follow? 2) who are your trainers to follow? 3) who are your horses to follow? 4) ante-post interests in the big races (ie Cheltenham & Aintree)? I know we'll get the usual Walsh / McCoy / Murphy on the jockey front, Hobbs / Nicholls on the trainer front but I'm also interested in the lesser known names. Let's try to gather some usual info so we can bash those bookies this winter. Post away:ok

Re: Jumps Season 1. The obvious ones are Ruby Walsh and Tony McCoy but A Thornton is a very good jockey too, did well at Cheltenham. 2. A King, has some very good horses worth following and P Bowen, already in good form so early on. 3. I've got a chart of horses to follow. Send me a PM with your e mail address and i'll forward it on. You can also add your own horses to this chart then, it's done in Word. A few horses worth noting are Voy Por Ustedes, Star De Mohaison, My Way De Solzen. Asian Maze. 4. Champion Hurdle - Asian Maze (10-1), Noland (25-1) Champion Chase - Voy Por Ustedes (6-1) World Hurdle - Asian Maze and My Way De Solzen (both 8-1) Gold Cup - Star De Mohaison (20-1), Kicking King (8-1) I'm more of a flat fan but really enjoyed jumps last season and many horses worth following again. Keep an eye out for Aston Lad and Jimmy Bond too, really good last year. :ok
