NKP Salve Challenger Trophy Cricket

The Indian cricket board have put together a 3 team challenge tournament together both for practice for those in their Champions Trophy squad and for a chance for those not in there to stake their claim for a place in the World Cup squad. Sky Sports Extra have each game live beginning with India Blue vs India Red. I'm not overly sure how serious it's going to be but I'm expecting it to be fairly serious with the Champions Trophy only 7 days away. As I'm not quite sure how it's going to go I'm just going to play a safe bet on the 1st match and see where it goes from there. 10pts India Blue -2.5wickets/20.5runs to beat India Red 5/6 Sporting Odds India Blue have the strongest squad in the tournament, Their squad is Dravid, Dhoni, Agarkar, Harbhajan, Jadeja, Mongia, Jaffer, Patel, Pathan, Sehwag, Tendulkar, RP Singh, Yuvraj Singh and Vasudevadas. Most of that squad are in the Indian's Champions Trophy squad and will want to get some form behind them. India Red's squad consists of Gambhir, Rao, Badrinath, Karthik, Kartik, Zaheer Khan, Powar, Raghu, Sathish, Sharma, TP Singh, Sreesanth and Uthappa. There are a few of that squad who've played for India internationally and a few up and coming stars looking to get into the side. Although many of the red squad will be eager to catch the eye of the selectors I do feel that this tournament has been lined up to benefit those currently in India's side which is why I see India Blue running out comfortable winners here.
