WinningTipster
Hi guys, DAVIS CUP FINAL RUSSIA TO D ARGENTINA @ 1.67 on pinnacle The Russians already stated that the Davis Cup final will be held in Moscow on the fastest possible indoor court, suited to Safin, Tursunov and Youzhny. The Argentinians have just one good fast court player in Nalbandian and will definetely struggle on the fast Moscow court. The number 2 position will be problematic for Argentinians on any surface rather than clay, since Coria has been out of action for most of 2006 and Acasuso/Gaudio are just two typical clay court players. The possible match-ups are as follow: 1. Safin-Nalbandian: advantage to the Russian (positive H2H record, fast courts and recent US Open win) 2. Tursunov/Youzhny/Davydenko-Acasuso: advantage to Russians because of the fast surface. 3. Tursunov/Youzhny/Davydenko-Nalbandian: a 50/50 match but the Russians will have a choice out of their three players. Youzhny has a great record against Nalbandian (and most clay courters in general) and Tursunov will be just too powerful for the Argentinian. 4. Safin-Acasuso/Gaudio: advantage to the Russian on the fast indoor court. 5. Doubles match: Tursunov/Youzhny-Nalbandian/Calleri: a 50/50 match. www.WinningTipster.com
