PL v the rest

I don't know if anybody else finds this - but when I'm in a tournament against fellow Pl'ers, I tend to play a slightly different game to when I am not. I generally play with a straighter bat - and I won't make as many moves (ie check raises). I don't know if it is because the games are friendlier, or if I have more respect for my opponents - but I know I play a different game. Anyone else play differently???
