ramses
Re: NeuroTennis hi Zaleto, congrats to your results. One thing I was aware of when screening your probabilties indication chances of victory of a player: some of your probabilities are completely different to a mathematically based betting service (www.sportpunter.com tennis model) I use. Who come? would you advise bets only if your coef. is reached and no bet if under? would kelly-critrion not indicate to adjust stakes on overlay (and not staking at levels = 1%)? cheers ramses
ZaletoFF
Re: NeuroTennis congrats to your results. Thanks. some of your probabilities are completely different to a mathematically based betting service. I use. So what? If you use this service, it means nothing. My NN is also mathematically based model. would you advise bets only if your coef. is reached and no bet if under? I use KK for betting. would kelly-critrion not indicate to adjust stakes on overlay (and not staking at levels = 1%)? Not understand... ramses
Re: NeuroTennis Thanks. So what? If you use this service, it means nothing. My NN is also mathematically based model. ZaletoFF, no offence intended. sorry :cry Both systems/models work well at a yield above 5%. I was just focussing on obviously different sources leading to similar (positive) results. I use KK for betting. Sorry, what is KK? (constant Kelly?) More I shall not answer messages which author distort mine nick-name) Sorry :wall once again ZaletoFF, the internet sometimes leads to a flipsy flapsy way of comunication. No offence intended. ZaletoFF
Re: NeuroTennis ramses, ok) About other services. They have profit - good. Single bet it is not indicator: we have profit in long term, that's all... Yes, KK is Kelly-Criteria (may called KC, CK or other, I like KK:) ): bet=(prob*odd-1)/(odd-1)/K, where K is coefficient to make bet lower, because it is impossible to predict 100 results of 100 matches every time. bigalt
Re: NeuroTennis I think staking purely on calculated overlay could lead into trouble, considering the fact that his record on the large overlay matches isn't quite as good as the ones with the small overlay. In these cases perhaps there is a piece of information that's important, not being calculated as ZaletoFF said, perhaps a slight injury, etc. And obviously matches with a 100% outcome may be exaggerating a bit... How are you liking that sportpunter's service? I just found their webpage recently.

I just found their webpage recently. @bigalt i have been with sportpunter mlb model this season and am into profit about 6% yield. tennis model is also in profit (though probabilities seem to be based on other data than ZaletoFF data source), but far less bets. take a look at upcoming NHL model (starts 10/4) and soccer model. both are free of charge. dont want to make any further recommendation for sportpunters (free) services in the forum. if you have further questions just pm me. ramses

ZaletoFF
Re: NeuroTennis @bigalt sportpunters (free) services in the forum. if you have further questions just pm me. ramses I shall try to explain to you my position. There is a bank in the size 1000 $. 1. There is service which makes 300 bets in one year and has 18 % ROI. MoneyManagement - Flat (10 $). Investment: 300bets*10 $ = 3000 $. Return: 3000 $ *0.18=540 $ (+54 % of bank). 2. There is service which makes 1500 bets in one year and has 6 % ROI. MoneyManagement - Flat (10 $). Investment: 1500bets*10 $ = 15000 $. Return: 15000 $ *0.06=900 $ (+90 %! of bank). For 100 years the profit will be: first +5400 % of bank, second +9000 % of bank. Besides, the big sample - the more reliably and more stably system. I would choose service which makes 1500 bets per year and has +18 % ROI:) But I did not meet such services... That I have written it all does not concern to any service, only my reasonings. Any concurrence is accident. So, If you want service with big sample of bets and minimal dropdown - you're welcome in my thread.
